Just ramblings… So, sometimes I’ll click on my #Fringe tag (on my Tumblr sidebar) and just see what’s there. What I find is *very* frequently (besides the gorgeous edits you guys make) something along the lines of, “OMG, JUST starting watching Fringe and I’m HOOKED! Caught up to season 3 and I can’t stop watching…” Now, with this, it seems to be that the only plausible reason that Fringe is not getting very good ratings is because people ARE NOT WATCHING LIVE. It seems to be the MAIN problem. Not that people don’t watch the show (and love it), simply put that the amount of live viewers is far smaller than the amount of fans. I LOVE how we’ve been getting the word out over Twitter and GetGlue and such, but I was thinking that along with all the wonderful campaigns we’ve been doing (that have been VERY successful if I might add), we could simply reach out to these fans one on one. Simply put, send them a message saying, “Hey! I noticed you started watching Fringe! It’s a great show and I know you’ll love the rest of it. If you have time, watch it live on Fridays so that we can keep it going into a 5th season!” ….or something like that. This way some of the ‘newer’ fans can feel welcomed and intrigued with our fandom. You’re all VERY nice people, so I know you won’t have trouble with that. Just some of my thoughts put into words…
Nobody wants that but I think we better prepare *sobbing*. I hope is “fringe” fine, or better “alias” fine, but please no “lost” fine. What the ‘Alias’ fine? Haven’t heard of that one, but the Lost one…. Oh god… I WOULD CRY IF THAT HAPPENED :’(
I just have a lot of feelings for this show…
RIGHT! Dont’ worry, everythng is going to turn out well at the end, it’s hurting like hell, and its probably going to hurt a bit more before it gets well. You are the SWEET one, gald everything is okay. ;) And then there’s Nina Sharp… ASDFGHJKLASDFGHJKL But yes, I’m sure everything will be ‘fine’ (as in, “Fringe” fine) by the end (except I don’t want the end to be until next year!!!) *sobbing*
